End User License Agreement

Draft — last updated 2026

This EULA governs your use of the Murmur software (the plugin/standalone application), distinct from the Terms of Service governing use of the murmurmusic.ai website and account services.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this agreement and any applicable subscription terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Murmur software on devices you own or control, for music production purposes.

2. Open Source Components

Murmur is built using the JUCE framework, distributed under its own license terms (see the project’s public source repository for full license text and attribution). This EULA governs the Murmur application as a whole; it does not restrict your rights under any applicable open-source license for included components.

3. Restrictions

You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, or sell the software itself. You may freely distribute audio and patches you create using the software.

4. License Keys

Your license key is tied to your account and is not transferable except as permitted by your subscription terms. We may revoke a license key associated with fraudulent activity or a violation of these terms.

5. Updates

We may release updates to the software from time to time. Continued use of the software after an update constitutes acceptance of any changes to functionality described in release notes.

6. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the software.

7. Contact
