October 11, 2026 · RELEASE NOTES
v1.14.0
Beta build for Apple Silicon Macs (M1/M2/M3/M4), macOS 13+, Logic Pro.
The meta cable on the panel, the Convergence bank in the installer, and Ben's whale on the face.
Install
- Open Tidepool and sign in. It updates Phosphor for you. New here? Download Tidepool from murmurmusic.ai.
- Quit Logic completely, reopen.
What changes
- The meta cable. On the PANEL, every cable's plug wears a ring, and the ring is a jack. Drag ENV, VEL, WHL, AT or an LFO from MOTION and drop it on a cable's plug: that source now moves the cable's depth. ENV on the LFO cable shrinks the wobble as the envelope decays, which is the Deep Note move. The meta cable's own plug hangs under the ring with its depth drawn around it; drag it up or down for the depth, double-click or right-click it to unplug. Presets keep their meta cables. It ships off, behind the PHOSPHOR meta cable admin switch, and needs the panel switch on.
- Convergence in the box. Six factory patches that do the Deep Note move: hold a chord, it swirls, then locks. BLOOM, CONVERGE, TIDE, ABYSS, GLASS and CHOIR, in Presets/factory/Convergence.
- Ben's whale and fonts on the face, and the Tidepool icon.
- PHOSPHOR lessons: replayable step-by-step patch guides.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Logic still shows the old version | Logic → Settings → Plug-in Manager → Reset & Rescan Selection, then reopen Logic |
| Logic says "incompatible" | Delete the old MURMUR.component, reinstall Phosphor from Tidepool, rescan |
| PLAY looks the same as before | The panel switch is off. Turn it on, wait for the plugin to check in with Tidepool (a few minutes), then quit and reopen Logic |
| No ring around the plugs | The meta cable switch is off, or the panel switch is. Turn both on, wait for the check-in, then quit and reopen Logic |
| Convergence is not in the browser | Reinstall Phosphor from Tidepool; the bank lands with the installer |
